2007-2008 SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION

Dear Potential Sponsor,

The Central Florida Golden Knights Ice Hockey Team Inc. is a club sport team of the University of Central Florida. The Golden Knights compete in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). The Golden Knights success during this past season led them to their second straight National Championship Tournament appearance. The Team finished the Tournament and the season ranked Fourteenth Nationally out of one-hundred thirty-one teams.

With the approach of the upcoming 2007/2008 season, the Golden Knights have put together a thirty Game regular season schedule, a schedule for weekly practices held at their home rink the RDV Sportsplex, and a Tournament schedule. The budget for this season is sixty thousand dollars (contact for a copy of the budget).

Funding for the Team comes partially from the University of Central Florida (ten-thousand dollars) and Player Dues (one-thousand dollars per player equaling roughly twenty to twenty-five thousand dollars); the balance of our budget is based upon Tax Deductible Donations. Specifically, our Team is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization (contact us for a copy of our tax exempt information). The Golden Knights budget relies heavily on tax deductible donations from the Fans, Community, Alumni and Family of the Golden Knights.
